Aligned Health Advisory is a healthcare consulting practice founded by a registered nurse, serving hospitals, care facilities and non-profit organizations in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
Every engagement is led by the founder. The person you meet in the first call is the person who reviews your documents, drafts your policies and answers your questions — no handoffs, no account layers.
Policies are written to be followed, not filed. We draft in clear, direct language that holds up at the bedside and in review, aligned to your templates and approval processes.
Recommendations are grounded in current evidence, legislation and standards, with sources documented. Research deliverables are written to withstand scrutiny when they are quoted back to you.
We take on a limited number of engagements and choose them carefully, so each client gets focused attention and honest timelines rather than a stretched roster.
Mak is a registered nurse with years in acute medicine and in mental health, where she currently practices. Her policy work includes development adopted by an acute care hospital's inpatient program, alongside experience in quality improvement. She founded Aligned Health Advisory to bring frontline judgment to policy work that is too often written at a distance from the care it governs.
We start with a short call to understand your needs, then provide a written proposal with a defined scope, deliverables, timeline and fee. Work proceeds against that scope with regular check-ins, and every engagement closes with documented deliverables your team owns outright.
Yes. Policy audits, drafting and research are delivered remotely for organizations anywhere in Canada. On-site work — walkthroughs, staff consultations, accreditation readiness visits — is available within the Greater Toronto Area.
Yes, selectively. The practice is deliberately small, so we take on engagements where we can do our best work. Register your interest below and we will respond if the fit is right.
Primarily Accreditation Canada's Qmentum program. If you are working toward a different program or a sector-specific standard, mention it in your registration and we will confirm whether we can support it.
The practice is young and deliberately small, so we're choosing early engagements carefully. Tell us about your organization and what you need — we read every submission and reply to the ones we can serve well.
